The date went extremely well. The club was easy to get to, the comedian was funny, and the food was good. The drive home was interesting... I won't say exactly how we got to this point but let's just say I recited "Lady Indians" for the former cheerleader on the ride home upon her demand. Many of you should get a kick out of that. The conversation was really great on the way home and I felt myself opening up more, just as she was.
It was still rather early as we approached home, so, despite the fact that I felt like a skeeveball from Elimidate for a brief moment, I asked her if she wanted to go in my hot tub. (Honestly, I didn't want to just go somewhere and get coffee, I wanted to be in a quiet place and just keep talking to her) She agreed. She's cute as a button.
It was a very good night. there was the hot tub, pool, grass, walks, poetry, conversation, trees, hugs, and...
well it was a good night.
Now, all this being said, there are still several things that might pose minor problems for her and I. However, for now, I prefer to bask in all this niceness.

ps- Beverly if you're reading this I didn't fuck up the poem once. And believe me, reading it for her was more than a minor "distraction drill" excercise. I'm focused, baby.
